Ingredients
  

2 slices of whole grain bread

4 oz turkey breast, sliced

2 tbsp basil pesto

1 slice of provolone cheese

1/4 cup fresh spinach leaves

1/4 cup roasted red peppers, sliced

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: Balsamic glaze for drizzling

Prep the Bread: Start by toasting the slices of whole grain bread until they are golden and slightly crispy. This will add a nice texture to your sandwich.

    Spread Pesto: Once the bread is toasted, spread 1 tablespoon of basil pesto on one side of each slice of bread.

      Layer the Ingredients: Onto one slice of bread, layer the turkey breast evenly. Follow with the provolone cheese, fresh spinach leaves, and roasted red peppers. Season with salt and pepper to enhance the flavors.

        Assemble the Sandwich: Place the other slice of bread on top, pesto side down, to complete the sandwich assembly.

          Grill the Sandwich: In a frying pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the sandwich and press down slightly with a spatula. Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side or until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted.

            Optional Drizzle: If desired, drizzle a little balsamic glaze over the sandwich just before cutting it in half for added flavor.

              Serve: Cut the sandwich in half and serve warm with your choice of sides, like a salad or potato chips. Enjoy!
