Ingredients

12 oz penne pasta

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 packet ranch seasoning mix

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup crispy bacon, crumbled

½ cup green onions, sliced

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the chicken breasts and season them with salt and pepper. Cook until browned on both sides and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and shred the chicken using two forks.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat and add the ranch seasoning mix and cream cheese, stirring until combined and creamy. Gradually pour in the chicken broth, constantly stirring until the sauce is smooth and heated through.

Combine Ingredients: Add the shredded chicken back into the skillet, mixing until the chicken is coated in the creamy ranch sauce. Then, stir in the cooked penne pasta, shredded cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon. Mix well until the cheese has melted and everything is well incorporated.

Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and fresh parsley. Serve warm and enjoy your comforting crack chicken penne!
