Ingredients

1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup crumbled bacon (cooked)

½ cup diced green onions (scallions)

½ cup sour cream

½ cup guacamole

¼ cup jalapeños (sliced; optional for extra heat)

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking spray

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray with cooking spray.

Bake the Tater Tots: Spread the frozen tater tots evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they’re golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.

Add Cheese and Bacon: In the last 5 minutes of baking, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon over the tater tots. Return to the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Prepare the Toppings: While the tater tots are baking, prepare your toppings. In a small bowl, mix the sour cream with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.

Assemble Appetizers: Once the tater tots are done, remove them from the oven. Garnish with diced green onions, jalapeños (if using), and a generous dollop of sour cream and guacamole.

Serve: Serve warm and enjoy your delicious loaded tater tot appetizers!
