Ingredients

1 bag (13 oz) tortilla chips

1 lb ground beef or turkey

1 packet taco seasoning

1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained

1 cup corn (fresh, frozen, or canned)

2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)

1 medium jalapeño, sliced (optional)

1 cup diced tomatoes

1/2 cup sliced black olives

1 avocado, diced

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Lime wedges for serving

Salsa for drizzling

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Cook the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in the taco seasoning and a splash of water. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until fully combined and fragrant.

Prepare the Sheet Pan: Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet. Make sure to cover the surface while allowing some chips to overlap slightly.

Layer the Nachos: Evenly distribute the seasoned meat over the chips. Follow with black beans, corn, jalapeño slices, diced tomatoes, and black olives. Finally, sprinkle the shredded cheese generously on top.

Bake: Place the sheet pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish: Once out of the oven, let the nachos cool for a minute. Top with diced avocado, dollops of sour cream, and sprinkle fresh cilantro.

Serve: Serve hot with lime wedges and your favorite salsa drizzled on top.
