Ingredients

1 lb beef steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized nuggets

1 cup potato gnocchi (store-bought or homemade)

2 tbsp olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)

Salt and pepper to taste

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Steak Nuggets:

    - In a mixing bowl, season the steak nuggets with salt, pepper, and dried Italian herbs. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes for the flavors to meld.

      Cook the Gnocchi:

        - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add the gnocchi and cook according to package instructions (typically about 2-3 minutes or until they float to the surface). Drain and set aside.

          Sauté the Steak:

            - In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak nuggets and sear them until browned and cooked to your desired doneness (about 3-4 minutes for medium-rare). Remove from skillet and set aside.

              Combine Everything:

                - In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

                  - Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet and toss gently to coat and warm through, about 2 minutes.

                    - Next, return the steak nuggets to the skillet and toss everything together. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to combine flavors.

                      Serve:

                        - Remove from heat and sprinkle the dish with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley. Serve hot and enjoy!
