Ingredients

4 large croissants, sliced in half

1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

3 large eggs

1 cup milk

1/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Arrange the sliced croissants in the bottom of the dish, cut side up.

Evenly distribute the mixed berries over the croissant halves.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until fully combined.

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissants and berries, ensuring all croissant pieces are soaked.

Let it sit for about 10 minutes to absorb the mixture, then gently press down to ensure the croissants are submerged.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the custard is set and the top is golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before cutting into squares.

Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar if desired.
