Ingredients

8 oz. fettuccine pasta

1 lb. ground beef

4 slices of bacon, diced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup diced tomatoes (optional)

1/4 cup sliced green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Bacon: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the diced bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Leave about 1 tablespoon of bacon grease in the skillet.

Brown the Beef: In the same skillet, add the ground beef. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: Lower the heat to medium, add the heavy cream to the skillet with the beef, and stir to combine. Gradually add the shredded cheddar and Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth, about 3-4 minutes.

Combine Everything: Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing it in the creamy beef sauce until well coated. If desired, fold in the diced tomatoes for an extra burst of flavor.

Serve and Garnish: Serve the pasta on plates or in bowls, topped with the crispy bacon and a sprinkle of green onions for garnish.
