Ingredients
  

1 lb (450g) ground beef

8 oz (225g) egg noodles

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup chopped onions

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp dried basil

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 cup frozen peas (optional)

1 cup beef broth

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Cook Noodles: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

      Brown Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat, if necessary.

        Sauté Vegetables: Add the chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onions are translucent.

          Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the sautéed beef and onions, cooked egg noodles, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, dried basil, salt, black pepper, and beef broth. If using, stir in the frozen peas.

            Transfer to Casserole Dish: Pour the beef noodle mixture into a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish. Spread evenly.

              Add Cheese Topping: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top and then add the grated Parmesan cheese for an extra cheesy crust.

                Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
