Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup low-fat cottage cheese

4 large egg whites

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

1/4 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

Cooking spray or a dash of coconut oil for the waffle iron

Instructions

Blend the Oats: In a blender or food processor, blend the rolled oats until they form a fine flour.

Combine Ingredients: Add the blended oats, cottage cheese, egg whites, protein powder, baking powder, cinnamon, honey (or maple syrup), and almond milk to the blender. Blend until you have a smooth batter.

Preheat Waffle Iron: Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions and lightly grease it with cooking spray or coconut oil.

Cook the Waffles: Pour approximately 1/2 cup of the batter onto the preheated waffle iron (or enough to cover the surface). Close the lid and cook for about 3-5 minutes, or until the waffles are golden brown and crisp.

Repeat: Continue cooking the remaining batter, greasing the waffle iron as necessary.

Serve: Serve the waffles warm, topped with fresh fruits, a dollop of Greek yogurt, and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup if desired.
