Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp onion powder

1 cup dried cranberries, chopped

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Fresh herbs for garnish (e.g., parsley or thyme)

Crackers or fruit for serving

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and powdered sugar. Mix well until creamy and smooth.

Add the garlic powder, onion powder, and chopped cranberries to the mixture. Stir until evenly distributed.

If using nuts, fold in the chopped pecans or walnuts for added crunch and flavor.

Using your hands, form the mixture into bite-sized balls, about 1-inch in diameter.

Roll the cheese balls in additional chopped cranberries or nuts for extra texture and flavor, if desired.

Place the cheese balls on a plate or platter, cover with plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

Before serving, garnish with fresh herbs for a pop of color and flavor. Serve with an assortment of crackers or fresh fruit.
