Ingredients

2 large flour tortillas

1 cup refried beans

1 cup cooked and seasoned ground beef or turkey

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup salsa

1/2 cup diced tomatoes

1/4 cup sliced black olives

1/4 cup diced red onion

1 avocado, sliced

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp chili powder

1 tbsp olive oil

Sour cream (for serving)

Jalapeños (optional, for spice)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a small bowl, mix the refried beans with cumin and chili powder for enhanced flavor.

Heat the olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef (or turkey) and cook until browned, approximately 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

On one tortilla, spread an even layer of the seasoned refried beans. Top with cooked ground meat, salsa, diced tomatoes, and black olives.

Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously over the top.

Place the second tortilla on top, pressing down slightly to combine the ingredients.

Carefully transfer the assembled tortilla pizza onto a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden, and the tortillas are crispy.

Remove from the oven, and let cool for a couple of minutes. Carefully slice into quarters.

Garnish with sliced avocado, chopped cilantro, and diced red onion. Serve with sour cream on the side and jalapeños if desired.
