Ingredients

1/4 cup olive oil

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon lime juice

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon honey

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

1 pound fresh tuna steak

Instructions

In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, lime juice, minced garlic, honey, and Dijon mustard until well combined.

Stir in the chopped rosemary, thyme, black pepper, and sea salt, mixing until the herbs are evenly distributed.

Place the fresh tuna steak in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag.

Pour the marinade over the tuna, ensuring it is fully coated. If using a dish, cover it with plastic wrap; if using a bag, seal it tightly while pushing out excess air.

Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, ideally up to 2 hours. Avoid marinating longer to prevent the tuna from becoming mushy.

Remove the tuna from the marinade, allowing the excess to drip off before cooking.

Cook the tuna steak on a grill or hot skillet for about 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.
