Ingredients

1 package (12 count) slider buns

½ pound Italian sausage, casing removed

½ pound pepperoni, sliced

½ pound ham, sliced

½ pound provolone cheese, sliced

½ cup roasted red peppers, sliced

½ cup marinara sauce

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook the Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, add the Italian sausage. Break it apart with a spoon and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.

Assemble the Sliders: In a large baking dish, place the bottom half of the slider buns. Layer the cooked sausage evenly over the buns, followed by the pepperoni, ham, roasted red peppers, and provolone cheese.

Add Sauce and Seasoning: Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the cheese. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning and crushed red pepper flakes (if using) on top.

Top with Buns: Place the top half of the slider buns over the filled bottom halves.

Prepare for Baking: In a small bowl, mix olive oil with garlic powder. Brush the mixture over the top of the slider buns for added flavor and crispiness.

Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden brown.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves, cut into individual sliders, and serve warm.
