1 cup brewed hibiscus tea, cooled

1 cup fresh pineapple chunks (or frozen for a chillier smoothie)

1 ripe banana, peeled

1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt for a vegan option)

1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional, adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon chia seeds (for added nutrition)

Juice of 1 lime

Ice cubes (optional, if using fresh pineapple)

Instructions
 

Begin by brewing hibiscus tea. Use 1 cup of boiling water over 1 tablespoon of dried hibiscus flowers or a hibiscus tea bag. Steep for about 5-10 minutes, then strain and let it cool.

    In a blender, combine the cooled hibiscus tea, fresh pineapple chunks, banana, Greek yogurt, honey or agave syrup (if using), chia seeds, and lime juice.

      Blend on high until all ingredients are well combined and the smoothie is creamy and smooth. If you prefer a thicker consistency, add ice cubes and blend again until smooth.

        Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness with more honey or agave if desired.

          Pour the smoothie into two glasses and garnish with additional pineapple chunks or a sprinkle of chia seeds on top.
