Ingredients

6 corn tortillas

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for spice)

Fresh lime juice (for serving)

Fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Stack the corn tortillas on a cutting board and cut them into 6 equal wedges, like slicing a pizza.

In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, sea salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper (if using). Stir until well mixed.

Add the tortilla wedges to the bowl and gently toss them in the olive oil mixture until evenly coated.

Spread the coated tortilla wedges in a single layer on the lined baking sheet, making sure they are not overlapping.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.

Once done, remove the chips from the oven and let them cool slightly on the baking sheet.

Serve with a drizzle of fresh lime juice and a sprinkle of chopped cilantro, or enjoy with your favorite salsa or guacamole.
