Ingredients

2 cups fresh grapes, halved

1 cup mixed berries (like blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust based on sweetness of fruit)

1 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed

1/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or almonds, optional)

Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Fruit Filling: In a large bowl, combine the halved grapes and mixed berries. Add the lemon juice and granulated sugar, gently tossing the fruit to coat. Let it macerate for about 10 minutes to release some juices.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Make the Crumble Topping: In a separate bowl, mix together the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt. Add the cubed cold butter into the mixture and use your fingers or a pastry cutter to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. If using, fold in the chopped nuts for added crunch.

Assemble the Crumble: Pour the macerated fruit mixture into a greased 8x8 inch baking dish or a similar-sized casserole dish. Evenly sprinkle the crumble topping over the fruit.

Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.

Cool and Serve: Allow the crumble to cool for about 10-15 minutes before serving. This can be served warm or at room temperature, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
