Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup peanut butter (or almond butter)

1/3 cup honey (or maple syrup)

1 scoop protein powder (any flavor you prefer)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats and the protein powder. Mix them well until fully incorporated.

In a microwave-safe bowl, gently warm the peanut butter and honey together for about 20-30 seconds, just enough to make them easier to blend. Stir until smooth.

Pour the warm mixture into the bowl with oats and protein powder and mix until all ingredients are well combined. The mixture should be thick and sticky.

Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later. Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly, pressing down firmly with your hands or a spatula.

Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the bars to set.

Once firm, remove the bars from the pan using the parchment overhang and cut into desired sizes (typically into 16 squares).

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
