4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Cooking spray or olive oil, for baking

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.

    Prepare the Breading Stations:

      - In a shallow dish, combine the all-purpose flour with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.

        - In another dish, whisk the eggs until well combined.

          - In a third dish, mix the panko breadcrumbs with the grated cheddar cheese.

            Bread the Chicken:

              - Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. This helps the breading adhere better.

                - Dredge each chicken breast in the seasoned flour, shaking off the excess.

                  - Dip the floured chicken into the egg mixture, allowing the excess to drip off.

                    - Finally, press the chicken into the panko and cheese mixture, coating it evenly on both sides.
