Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

Sear the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear them for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Make the Creamy Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the softened cream cheese and chicken broth, stirring until the cream cheese is fully melted and combined.

Add Seasonings: Stir in the ranch dressing mix, garlic powder, onion powder, and sour cream until well blended. Allow the sauce to simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cheese Time: Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.

Combine Chicken and Sauce: Return the seared chicken breasts to the skillet, making sure to coat them well with the creamy ranch sauce. Let them simmer in the sauce for an additional 5 minutes to soak up the flavors.

Serve: Garnish with fresh chopped parsley, if desired. Serve over rice, pasta, or with a side of steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
