Ingredients
  

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup fresh basil pesto

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

    Sear the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

      Sauté Garlic: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

        Make the Cream Sauce: Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add in the basil pesto, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and lemon juice. Stir continuously until the sauce is well combined and thickened, approximately 3-5 minutes.

          Combine Chicken and Sauce: Return the seared chicken breasts to the skillet. Coat them well with the creamy garlic pesto sauce and let everything simmer together for an additional 2-3 minutes to meld the flavors.

            Serve: Serve the creamy garlic pesto chicken over pasta, rice, or with a side of roasted vegetables. Garnish with fresh basil leaves for an extra touch.
