Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated cinnamon roll dough (8 rolls)

4 large eggs

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/4 cup maple syrup (plus more for serving)

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Powdered sugar for dusting

Fresh fruit (optional, for serving)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or an oven-safe skillet.

Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate each roll. Cut each roll into quarters and place them aside in a large mixing bowl.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and maple syrup until well combined.

Pour the egg mixture over the cinnamon roll pieces in the bowl, gently folding to ensure all the pieces are coated evenly.

In the prepared baking dish, melt the butter over medium heat until bubbling.

Pour the cinnamon roll mixture into the baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the edges are crispy.

Remove the baking dish from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm, drizzled with additional maple syrup and fresh fruit if desired.
