Ingredients

9 cups Rice Chex cereal

1 cup white chocolate chips

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup cherry-flavored powdered drink mix (like Kool-Aid)

1 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup cherries, chopped (fresh or canned)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon butter

1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Cereal: In a large mixing bowl, measure out the Rice Chex cereal and set aside.

Melt the White Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and butter. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and smooth.

Mix Cream Cheese and Flavoring: In another small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with the vanilla extract until creamy and well-combined. Gradually add the melted white chocolate to the cream cheese mixture and stir until smooth.

Combine Ingredients: Pour the cream cheese and white chocolate mixture over the Rice Chex cereal. Gently fold the cereal into the mixture until all pieces are evenly coated.

Add Cherry Flavor: Sprinkle the cherry-flavored powdered drink mix over the coated cereal and gently toss until evenly distributed.

Coating with Sugar: Add the powdered sugar gradually to the mixture, continuing to toss until all pieces are coated and deliciously sweet.

Incorporate Cherries: Carefully fold in the chopped cherries to add a burst of flavor.

Garnish: Spread the Puppy Chow onto a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs over the top for a cheesecake crust effect.

Chill and Set: Place the Puppy Chow in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to set before serving.

Serve: Once set, break apart into clusters and transfer into a serving bowl. Enjoy your sweet Cherry Cheesecake Puppy Chow!
