Ingredients

1 pre-made pie crust (9-inch)

6 large eggs

1 cup whole milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cooked bacon, chopped

1/2 cup diced onion

1/2 cup diced bell pepper (any color)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley or chives for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare Crust: Place the pre-made pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish, crimping the edges if desired. Prick the bottom of the crust with a fork to prevent bubbling.

Cook the Vegetables: In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced onion and bell pepper until softened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Mix the Egg Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Combine Fillings: Stir the cooked bacon, sautéed vegetables, and shredded cheese into the egg mixture.

Pour into Crust: Carefully pour the egg and filling mixture into the prepared pie crust.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool and Serve: Let the quiche cool for about 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley or chives if desired and serve warm.
