Ingredients

12 oz packaged refrigerated cheese ravioli

2 cups marinara sauce (homemade or store-bought)

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.

Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Layer half of the ravioli over the marinara sauce, making sure to spread them out evenly.

Spoon half of the ricotta mixture over the ravioli, then add another layer of marinara sauce.

Repeat with the remaining ravioli and ricotta mixture, finishing with marinara sauce on top.

Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese over the sauce.

If desired, sprinkle red pepper flakes for an extra kick.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
