Ingredients

2 pounds chicken drumsticks

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite type)

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (optional for tanginess)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. This will help the heat circulate around the drumsticks and make them crispy.

Prepare the Marinade: In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix well to create a marinade.

Coat the Drumsticks: Add the chicken drumsticks to the bowl and toss until they are fully coated in the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight in the fridge for more flavor).

Bake the Drumsticks: Place the marinated drumsticks on the wire rack in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Add the BBQ Sauce: Once the drumsticks are cooked, brush them generously with BBQ sauce. Return the drumsticks to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the sauce is caramelized and sticky.

Serve and Garnish: Remove the drumsticks from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley before serving.

Enjoy your delicious, finger-licking Baked BBQ Chicken Drumsticks!
