Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings, separated into flats and drumettes

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)

1/2 cup buffalo sauce (your favorite brand)

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Fresh celery sticks and blue cheese dressing for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This step is essential for achieving crispiness!

Season the Wings: In a large bowl, combine baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Toss the chicken wings in this mixture until well coated.

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Air Fry the Wings: Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they aren’t overcrowded (you may need to do this in batches). Air fry for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Make the Buffalo Sauce: While the wings are cooking, combine the buffalo sauce and melted butter in a bowl and mix well to combine.

Toss the Wings: Once the wings are done, transfer them to another bowl and pour the buffalo sauce mixture over the hot wings. Toss until they are fully coated.

Serve: Serve the spicy air-fried buffalo wings with fresh celery sticks and a side of blue cheese dressing for dipping. Enjoy your guilt-free indulgence!
